I joined MK in 2003.
I gave up by the end of 2003, so I am a big-time "quitter".
:)
There is something going around in MK that a lot of Christian
women may not understand, and I was involved in it before
I realized what I was doing was definitely NOT Godly.
A warning to all Christian women entering MK--if a sales
director recommends that you read a book titled "The
Secrets of Super-Selling" DO NOT read this book or practice
its suggestions.
The "secrets" and "techniques" outlined
in this book stem from the positive-thinking teachings, but
they actually are based in the occult. It describes how you
should write down on pieces of paper the qualities that you
want in recruits, then meditate over these pieces of paper,
chanting out loud what you desire, sending out "energy
waves" that will bring these people into your life (in
this case, "sharp-looking women" that want to join
MK).
I cannot believe that I fell for this stuff initially because
it is labeled as positive thinking, etc.
These are cult practices, and I knew in my heart that there
was something fishy about the whole thing--I just wasn't totally
sure at first.
PLEASE, if you are a Christian woman thinking of joining
MK, be on your guard against this book, these positive-thinking
teachings, and any directors who encourage you to do these
things.
This opportunity was definitely not an answer to my prayers---instead
I was deceived about the actual difficulties of getting customers
and recruits, and led into something that I am spiritually
against.
I feel nothing but disgust for myself when I realize how
easily I was deceived, and am trying to tell as many women
as I can about this! |
