Now that Career Conferences are coming to
a close, ARE YOU EXCITED??????? Did you go back home and
order 20 of everything so that you could “help”
your director or recruiter make their goal and/or did you
order enough by March 16 to be a “star”?
Have you set your goals to become a director by June 30,
a “Star” this quarter or Queen of something by
Seminar or are you going for your “free car” ??????
Then read on………….
March 31 is right around the corner – the proverbial
“end of the month” where “Mary Kay Miracles”
oftentimes happen! Those miracles always involve large inventory
orders from new recruits; don’t get caught up in that
and blow your family vacation money on this goal.
There are only a few more months to the end of the Mary Kay
year where June 29 and June 30 are the highest “selling
days” (aka Ordering days) of the Mary Kay year (July
1 to June 30).
If you find yourself getting pressured towards the end of
any month leading up to that fateful date, read our site,
join our groups and become educated about MLM’s in general.
It might be the best reading you’ve ever done.
We realize that what they have to offer looks fun and exciting;
all of us were once caught up in it – however, we now
have wised up and some women on our site are still involved,
but doing business responsibly and ethically while others
have “left the building”. We have a mix here.
I am passionate about warning women to hang on to those pocketbooks
and credit cards towards the end of this year so that you
do not make the same mistake as many of us did by getting
zealous about achieving a status or level in MK and purchase
unneeded inventory.
If you wouldn’t help your neighbor by giving them a
few thousand dollars, then please don’t justify “helping”
a Mary Kay rep with your family’s hard earned money.
Women – ESPECIALLY DO NOT HIDE these purchases from
your husband! You will not be able to live with yourself.
Mary Kay Ash built her business from the ground up and it
took decades to make it what it is today – don’t
fall for your director telling you that you can’t sell
from an empty wagon. Internet sales are all made while people
wait for their goods. They don’t MIND.
Speaking of Mary Kay today; women are heading for National
Sales Director positions trying to attain them at the speed
of lightning and what they do is “work the numbers”
– that’s the norm these days.
Mass recruiting is the name of the game. Hotel ballrooms
are rented decorated with glitz and have plenty of glam to
entice you to become one of “them”. They sell
fun and excitement in the beginning using praise, recognition
and even God to veil this opportunity as a profitable one
for most.
Fact is, there are no statistics to prove most will succeed;
in fact most fail and it’s not your fault.
Heed our warning please. I wanted this front and center on
our website so that visitors can be aware that not all is
what it seems in Mary Kay now that we are on a Countdown to
Seminar.
The heat is on, the pressure is mounting for you to recruit
and get the most out of those initial inventory orders from
the recruits. Fact is, you have 2 months to make an inventory
decision and if you don’t find that you were given that
time, but pressured at the end of the month – you are
only a number and they are working it. Next you’ll be
a statistic – odds are in that favor.
